Based on the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecast at 5:00 AM today, November 15, 2024, Severe Tropical Storm “PEPITO” is expected to intensify to a TYPHOON Category. The Office recommends conducting PRE-EMPTIVE AND FORCED EVACUATION today, November 15, 2024;, for all residents in coastal, flood-prone, and landslide-prone areas to ensure their safety.
