Article C., Section 13C.01 of Provincial Ordinance No. 22-2021 entitled as “Climate Change Adaptation & Mitigation and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (CCAM-DRRM) Code of 2019.

WHEREAS based on the Implementing Rules and Regulation of Republic Act No. 10121, Rule 6, Section 4 states that the “Provincial, City, and Municipal DRRMO or BDRRMCs, in coordination with concerned national agencies and instrumentalities, shall perform the following functions with impartiality, given the emerging challenges brought by disaster of our times” Paragraph 10. “Identify, access, and manage the hazards, vulnerabilities and risk that may occur in the locality”

WHEREAS Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2018-01 No.6.1.4. The owner/applicant/design professionals are enjoined to ensure required clearances from other agencies as stipulated under Section 302 (12) b of the IRR of the National Building Code of the Philippines (NBCP), and other documents or clearances from local authorities as may be provided by local ordinances.
